Day 1

Dharchula TO Dharchula

Arrival at Dharchula
Your journey begins in Dharchula, a unique town situated on the banks of the Kali River. After checking in, we focus on the essential documentation for your Inner Line Permit. The afternoon is free for you to explore the local markets or walk across the suspension bridge into the neighboring territory of Nepal.

Day 2

Dharchula to Gunji / Napalchu (71 KMs /4 hrs) 3200m

After an early breakfast, we begin the steep drive toward the high-altitude base of Gunji. As we ascend to 3,200 meters, you will witness the landscape transition from lush forests to the rugged, breathtaking beauty of the upper Himalayas. We reach our traditional homestay by evening to begin the acclimatization process.

Day 3

Gunji to Adi Kailash & Back (72 KMs) 4497m

We start before dawn for Adi Kailash. Upon reaching Jolingkong, we undertake a short, gentle walk to the Parvati Sarovar. Here, you can perform puja and meditate at the Lord Shiva and Parvati temple. On the drive back to Gunji, we witness the massive Brahma Parvat and the ancient structures of the Pandava Fort.

Day 4

Gunji to Om Parvat & Back ( 22 Kms ) 4246m

Today is dedicated to the divine darshan of Om Parvat. We drive toward Nabidhang to witness the miraculous 'ॐ' symbol on the mountain face. We also visit the sacred Kali Mandir at Kala Paani, the Sheshnag Parvat, and the historic Ved Vyas Gufa before returning to our Dharchula.

descent back to Dharchula. (89 Km) The drive offers a last chance to soak in the majestic views of the Vyas Valley. We drop you back at Dharchula, where your sacred yatra concludes with the blessings of Mahadev.

Adi Kailash (also known as Chhota Kailash) located in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand is considered to be the main abode of Lord Shiva. According to Uttarakhand Tourism, this place is attracting tourists and devotees from all over the world for its ethereal natural beauty, high mountains, alpine meadows and spiritual peace. Religious and Mythological Significance of Adi Kailash: Lord Shiva: According to Hindu beliefs, Lord Shiva had meditated (penance) at this holy place for thousands of years. Shiva-Parvati marriage: It is also considered to be the first stop of Shiva and Parvati's procession. Major Pilgrimage Sites: Along with Adi Kailash Mountain, there are sacred water bodies like Parvati Sarovar and Gauri Kund, which are associated with Goddess Mata Parvati. Journey and Main Attractions: It is located at an altitude of approximately 4497 meters (or 14753.94 feet). Best Time: The time between May, June, September, October, November is considered to be the most favorable time for travel.
